Child Evangelism and Discipleship

Before 1995 few Mayan churches in southern Belize had any specific ministry to children. With the help of local pastors, CRM began a ten year campaign to help churches of various denominations organize Sunday schools. Today, due to that effort, there is at least one Sunday school in virtually every Mayan villiage in that area. As a part of starting Sunday schools, CRM distributed hardback Bibles to almost every village home where Sunday schools were begun.
CRM continues to provide teacher training for the Sunday school teachers it recruited as well as others, and promotes ministry to children among the churches of Belize.

Personal Library Project

Most pastors in Belize have very few resources to aid in their personal Bible study and sermon preparation. CRM has provided basic reference books to some pastors in the past.
The response from the pastors has encouraged us to initiate a project to not only provide other pastors with these resource materials, but to also include Sunday school teachers as well.
Participation in the Personal Library Project will require a commitment from the pastors and teachers to attend a series of workshops. They will receive instructions on the use of these resources in sermon and lesson preparation along with inductive Bible study methods.

Zoom Classrooms
These strategically placed classrooms will facilitate those taking ministry course through CRM's distance learning program. Our first classroom is now in operation near Punta Gorda in the Toledo District of Belize.
Ministry Enhancement Seminars

Even when the interdenominational Bible school comes to fruition, CRM will continue to provide continuing education through its Ministry Enhancement Seminars.
Youth Leadership Camps |
Tomorrow's leaders will take their places in society, including the church, armed with the abilities they have acquired. CRM is doing its part to help instill in those potential leaders the basic skills required for leadership from a Christian perspective. The camps combine Scriptural teaching with hands-on exercises to increase the campers' proficiency in communication, teamwork and problem-solving .
